My name is Dr Raymond Platon, and I’m the principal dentist at Dr Raymond Platon & Associates in Wetherill Park, Western Sydney.

I was born in Quezon City, Philippines, and moved to Australia with my family when I was 10 years old. Although I've spent most of my life in Australia, my Filipino heritage remains an important part of who I am.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours from the University of Sydney and have been practising dentistry for more than 25 years. Since 2002, I've been leading our dental practice in Wetherill Park, caring for individuals and families from many different cultural backgrounds.

My clinical interests include general and preventive dentistry, crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers and orthodontic treatment, including traditional braces and Invisalign.

For me, dentistry isn't just about treating teeth. It's about listening to patients, understanding their concerns and explaining treatment options clearly so they can make informed decisions about their oral health.

I speak both English and Tagalog, and I understand how reassuring it can be to discuss healthcare concerns in a language you feel comfortable speaking. I'm always pleased to welcome Filipino individuals and families, as well as patients from all backgrounds.

I'm proud of my Filipino roots and grateful to have built my career in Australia, serving the diverse Western Sydney community for more than two decades.
